Hi, I’m Jodi — Founder of Mindfully Shaped

I’ve always been an active person. Growing up, my dad was an athlete, so weekends were often spent at races — biking, running, or cheering at triathlons. Movement was part of life, and I loved it.

When my kids were young, I owned Limitless Group Fitness Training, and teaching fitness classes was one of the most fulfilling times in my life. But as the years went on, life got busy — really busy.

Between full-time desk jobs, raising three kids in completely different stages of life, managing a household, and navigating the ups and downs of relationships and an ex-husband, I slowly lost myself. I stopped prioritizing me.

My “meals” often became a box of crackers at my desk. Wine became my nightly stress relief. Exercise turned into something I was “too busy” for. I’d go all in for a few weeks — then crash, burn out, and quit again.

Eventually, my hormones shifted, my hair started falling out, and I found myself 30 pounds heavier than my comfortable weight. I was tired, disconnected, and I knew something had to change.

Taking My Life Back — One Small Step at a Time

I decided to take charge — not with another extreme diet or bootcamp, but with small, realistic steps.

I started with just 15 minutes a day. A walk. A stretch. Anything that moved me and helped me reconnect with my body.

I began organizing my schedule, reducing chaos in my environment, and building peace into my day. I added simple breathing practices, spoke kind words out loud, and made easy shifts — like a glass of water before coffee.

One small habit at a time, I began to rebuild. Slowly, my energy returned. The stress eased. My body responded. I felt lighter, calmer, and more like myself than I had in years.

This approach — stacking small, mindful habits that build lasting change — became the foundation of Mindfully Shaped.

Why I Do This

I know what it feels like to pour yourself into everyone else and lose sight of your own needs.
I also know what it feels like to find your spark again — to feel strong, confident, and at peace in your body.

That’s why I help women just like you rediscover their strength, rebuild their confidence, and create a balanced, sustainable lifestyle that fits your life — not the other way around.

I’m honest and raw, but also compassionate. I’ll meet you exactly where you are — and challenge you when you’re ready for more.

A Little More About Me

I was born and raised in West Kelowna, BC, where I live with my husband, Trevor, and our three amazing kids (ages 18, 16, and 7).

When I’m not coaching or training, you’ll find me outdoors — running, walking, or just enjoying the Okanagan sunshine. I love slow mornings, good coffee, and moments of gratitude that remind me how far I’ve come.

My Mission
